The Fountain of Youth/ Eternal Life & What is Christian?

The point is, Before you can trust God, you have to believe He is real, and you have to listen to His word. His word comes from the bible. But if God’s Word isn’t preached, there's nothing for you to listen to. paraphrased from the “The Message “Romans 10:16

Webster’s Dictionary: A follower or disciple (one who receives instruction from and adheres to the doctrine of) Jesus Christ.
Strong’s Bible Concordance – Follower of Jesus Christ. Having the attributes of Jesus.

All of the cologne, beauty cream, exercise equipment, and health food on earth will not give you what you want – to live forever! That is what we call salvation or becoming a Christian. All of us make mistakes now and then. But those mistakes are just enough to keep us from the fountain of youth everyone keeps looking for. So how do you become a Christian?

“Lord Jesus, I do not fully understand everything about You, but I am going to make this the first step in getting to know you. I've tried to be a good person by doing things my own way. But, I make mistakes. I am finally ready to accept your love and your forgiveness. I believe that You are the Son of God. I also believe that You died for my sins on the cross. I believe that God raised you from the dead and that you now are alive in heaven. I ask you to forgive me for the things I have done wrong in my past, (my sins). I need a change in my life. Jesus come into my heart, change my life, make me a new person. I want to live forever.
Jesus I thank you for not giving up on me. Thank you for giving me this chance to start over. I accept You as my Savior and will allow You to work in me! I believe that the Bible is Your written Word and that it is true. I will begin to read the bible and try to follow You from this moment forward! Thank you Jesus for coming into my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
